Looks great and intimidating. But it is rather scale than lamellar.
Does anyone able to move in it? I very like the design of helmet. Great work.
My friend Phil wants to be that fat.
Really cool lamellar armor!!!
Two things: first, this is awesome. I really like it. Second: there's a Blade Dictionary for sale on Amazon. I can post a link for it, if you have need for such a thing. I don't think "lamellar" was in it. What does that mean exactly?
Lamellar is a style of armor that was popular with the Byzantine's (Or so the book I read quoted) and also around in some parts of Ancient China. It's similar to scale mail, but instead of the scales riveted to a coat, the sections of either metal or leather where laced on a cord to where they would overlap one another. The design makes the armor flexible to move around in and easier to maintain and repair.
Wow that's very nice great detail.
